Legacy Field

Adjacent to Prasco Park is Legacy Field, a completely synthetic turf baseball field. The only natural surface on the field is the pitcher’s mound, which has been designed to allow multiple age groups to pitch.

The custom, synthetic surface affords teams a unique experience, as Legacy Field is one of a limited number of all-synthetic turf fields in the region. While relatively innovative for baseball fields, the synthetic turf surface plays very much like a natural surface.

Also at Legacy Field are bullpens, dugouts, and two batting cages. Only players and coaches during the course of a practice or game may use the batting/pitching tunnels. For your safety and enjoyment, all others will be asked to vacate the area.

Spectators can have a unique experience at Legacy Field, as down the 3rd base line is a grassy embankment designed for a more casual seating environment. Legacy Field also offers a seat structure behind home plate for unobstructed views of the on-field action.

In addition to being a premier baseball site, Legacy Field’s playability and durability allow it to host other (non-baseball) events and activities. Please check this site for a schedule of public events. We look forward to you being a part of the action at Legacy Field!
